Beautiful Opal From Coober Pedy in Australia This is extremely nice rough from Coober Pedy. Many of the pieces are recognizable opalized fossil clams and most pieces face just as you'd want them to. Some are a little thin, but most have very bright fire. This is the first batch of Coober Pedy I've bought and it is beautiful stuff. I've purchased two different grades and this is the higher grade of the two. I received a good deal on these stones and am passing on the savings to you. These are nice lots for serious opal cutters, beginners and even collectors.
