Fire Agate from the Aguas Calientes mine in Mexico
Beautiful and Exotic iridescent stones of chalcedony with micro thin layers of limonite between the layers of chalcedony. These stones have great fire and will make some very attractive jewelry. Just as spectacular as the best opals, but without the softness of opal.

I just got the a new lot of Mexican Fire Agate Windows from the Aguas Calientes Mine in Mexico. This year's mine run is one of the best I've seen and these were definitely the best Fire Agates at Quartzite this year. These stones have been carefully windowed and some tumbled, which makes them very easy to see and work. These are very nice colorful stones with all possible color combinations including Gold, Royal, Purple and Peacock. These will not disappoint like many fire agate you have seen. I spent about 2 hours selecting the best this material has to offer. Limited supply.
