Tear from Utah This is gem grade obsidian Apache Tear Obsidian (or Volcanic Glass) from the Thomas Range, Utah - right around the corner from the Topaz Mountain cauldera. My signature shape cut from material from my specialty area of the world. These stones are translucent and mostly free of inclusions, and will make some great jewelry. I have included an "mpeg video" so you can see the stone and it's color in motion and get a better idea of what you are getting. The video is well worth the small 1/4 megabyte download - about 70 seconds to download on a 56k modem. |
