North Ridge Plume agate designer gem 5/9/2019 01 - 44 x 21 x 4.7 mm - 27 carats - Of all the plume agates form the Graveyard point area, this is probably my favorite. Well defined plumes of dark and light colors occasionally with reds with tiny sparkles of golden marcasite in a nearly water clear agate are what define this agate. This material came from the miner Steve Schultz - thanks Steve! It is a pleasure to cut with few to almost no surface flaws. This delightful, top shelf cabochon has rare fuzzy tubes known as "hanging gardens" and is cut to an elegant designer flame with a beautifully rounded dome, girdled sides and a flat beveled back, all with liquid high gloss luster.
