"Piedrea Voga" / Phosphosiderite cabochon 3/12/2019 01 - 32 x 22 x 4 mm - 18 carats - This material is a stone currently being mined in Chile. The color is a bit like sugilite. It is known as "piedrea voga" or "pink stone" as well as "la rosa voca" or "pink rock". This material is stabilized and cuts very nicely with an excellent luster. It is either solid purple or has yellow gold veins like this piece. This cab has a beautiful dome, girdled sides and a flat beveled back all with high gloss luster.
