Considered the King of jaspers, it is without a doubt one of the most beautiful stones in the world. This cab is not one of the least flawed Morrisonite gem I've ever cut but certainly is one of the most exciting and colorful. As wonderful as this jasper is it often has tiny pits or hairline cleavage that can come apart when worked. This stone not only held together well, but also the flaws do not detract from it's outstanding beauty. This designer cut cabochon has wonderful colors and outstanding patterns, a beautifully rounded dome, girdled sides and a flat beveled back, all with high gloss luster.
