Dryhead agate high grade oval gem 12/29/2018 01 - 39 x 30 x 4.3 mm - 41 carats - This classic agate is very popular and well known as one of the great American agates. I stumbled upon and bought just a few pieces of very high grade rough last year in Quartzsite, but this kind of quality is pretty hard to come by today. This outstanding cabochon has wonderful colors with very distinctive pinks. This stone has beautifully rounded dome, girdled sides and a flat beveled back all with liquid high gloss luster. There are a couple small voids on the back and a practically flawless front, both extremely pretty. This is a unique one-off.
