Kentucky agate designer gem 3/30/2018 01 - 47 x 33 x 5.3 mm - 62 carats - This American agate is fairly rare, especially in high grade quality. I luckily got Sue Gallagher to part with a few pieces she had and a few of them are so nice... including the piece I cut this gem from... This unique cabochon is so pretty. The photos and video pretty well speak for themselves - showing the stone very well but I dare say it's even better in person. This collectible art cabochon features amazing colors and patterns like very fancy laces. It has a beautifully rounded dome, girdled sides and a flat beveled back all with liquid high gloss luster. This stone is practically flawless in both material (very rare) as well as the designer tear drop cut. An excellent piece of American gemological and geological art.
