Lightning Ridge Harlequin Opal cabochon 3/28/18 01 - 10 x 8
x 2.2 mm - 1.2 carats - Here is a beautiful gem cut from
world famous Lightning Ridge opal fields in Australia.
Lightning Ridge is historically the highest priced and most
desirable opal in the world. This is a solid opal cabochon.
This is a stone I cut in 2006. I've held onto it for 12
years and I've not shown or photographed it before now. It
has a beautiful, lively and bright patchwork Harlequin
patterned green with blue color fire best seen in real life
and in motion. The past photo shows the stone sitting in a
standard pre-made 10x8 silver bezel cup to show the
