Condor Agate designer gem 3/28/2017 01 - 50 x 29 x 3.5 mm - 32 carats - Ed Rupprecht, the man I learned to cab from was a serious rock hound and I was lucky enough to get to buy some of his treasured rocks he hadn't the time to work himself.. not too surprising, as all rock hounds have their piles.. but Ed was special... and he had some wonderful stuff. This crystal fantasy fairy-tale cab is cut from some of that material and is a sister cab to an earlier stone I cut. It will also be the last as this was the only rough from this piece left. This beautiful patterned agate gem is cut to a designer flame shape and is beautifully domed, with girdled sides and a flat beveled back. It has very pretty crystals that sparkle like little diamonds all around the center.. topped off with a high gloss luster front and back.
