Opalized Fluorite aka Tiffany Stone, Bertrandite gem 9/18/2016 01 - 72 x 40 x 5.2 mm - 104 carats - This rare and plus sized gem of opal fluorite is a beautiful creamy white opal with purple, lavender and reddish breccia with translucent quartz and a delightful sparkling druzy pocket on the front. Cut to a beautifully balanced designer paisley flame this 72 mm stone would be hard to miss as a pendant or collector piece, it has a lovely rounded dome, girdled sides and flat beveled back all with beautiful glossy luster. There are some minor surface flaws as with a lot of Tiffany but not enough to detract from this stunning stone. I cut this gem in Nipomo California at a recent rock show. Thanks Wm.
