This new and expensive Jasper is amazingly beautiful and is believed to have formed from hot mud flows millions of years ago when the North African Sahara Desert was a combination of volcanic regions, tropical forests and saltwater seas. Fossils found within some of the Jasper and associated with the country rock supports this theory. Super stuff.
