| Description |
Generally
found in shades of green with other colors
streaking it. Other colors would be white,
grey, yellow, brown. Two structures are
possible, Antigorite (scaly) or Chrysotile
(fibrous). Has a silky or greasy luster to
it. Present in layers within slate limestone
and marble. The gemmy, translucent variety
is often referred to as Bowenite. |
